CTO / VP Engineering · Ex-Splunk · Founding-era VictorOps · Security & Dev Tools

Three engineering orgs, three different stages. Joined VictorOps as a founding-era engineer and took ARR from $0 → $10M through the Splunk acquisition, then stayed at Splunk to grow on-call from $10M → $20M and lead within a 350-person engineering team. Most recently led StackHawk from $1M → $5M ARR with a small 10-person team, landing Coca-Cola, McDonald's, and ITV.

I build small teams that out-ship larger ones. At StackHawk we roughly doubled engineering output (~500 → ~1,000 PRs/quarter, same headcount) by standardizing on Claude Code and rebuilding the SDLC around it. One of the earliest serious bets on AI-native engineering I've seen in production.
