The short version
Meld does not collect anything. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no servers. Everything you enter stays on your device.
What Meld stores
Meld saves the things you type into it so your games are still there when you come back:
- Player names and the avatar colour you pick for each
- Games, teams, rounds, scores, column layouts, and the notes you pin to a game
- Your saved presets and app settings
This is written to the app’s private storage inside your device’s Application Support directory. It is not readable by other apps.
Where it goes
Nowhere. Meld contains no networking code — it never contacts a server, because there is no server to contact. Nothing you enter is transmitted, uploaded, shared, or sold.
If you have iCloud or iTunes device backups turned on, iOS may include Meld’s data in your own encrypted backup, as it does for other apps. That backup is between you and Apple; Meld is not involved and cannot read it.
What Meld does not do
- No analytics or crash reporting SDKs
- No advertising identifiers and no ad networks
- No tracking across apps or websites
- No account, sign-in, or email address
- No location, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone access
- No third-party SDKs of any kind
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes everything Meld has stored. There is no copy anywhere else, so there is nothing else to delete and no request to make. Individual players and games can also be removed inside the app at any time.
Children
Meld is a score pad for card and board games. It collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top.
